Testing, testing, 123...

I know this is weird, but Blogger is practically free image-hosting, so I'm just sticking this thingy in for my graphics homework... It probably won't work anyway!

...

About to go ice-skating again, this time escorted by a slightly annoying nine year old who learned a load of rather rude words off a song on my phone last time we met... He's my best friend's - X's - mum's boyfriend's son; so basically, possibly her future step-brother... ^_^ We'll call him M. M has an obsession for the internet game Club Penguin and it'slightly disturbing the amount of time he spends on it when he can... me and X went shopping on day: when we came back five hours later, he was still sat where we left him, in X's mum's office, playing the fishing game to save up for a virtual plasma screen. Boys... Well, hopefully I won't take another chunk out of my hand and get blood all over the pay-desk again! It's still practically open, and bleeds if I touch it too hard... weird. :( I've written some more fanfics, and I now have an account over on FictionPress.Com, which I intend to use as soon as 'three day waiting period, to reduce spam' is finished. Somebody once told me that I could write about grass growing and it would be interesting, so I decided to give it a go! 'Cos I'm just strange like that... Well, I'm quite proud of actually, as it's not just about grass growing, obviously! There is kind of a plot in there somewhere... anyway, gotta go; need to get dressed, showered and do my graphics homework. Bye...

Ice Skating etc...

Hi! I went ice skating on Saturday, as the title implies... I'm still rubbish, but at least there weren't any major casualties like last time! Well, not major exactly, but no twisted wrists this time. I almost broke it last time; fell over backwards, put my hands out to break my fall and it turns out that my little wrists don't take my weight... so, kersplat! I only fell over three times! The first time, I was fine, the second time, I cut my hand on my own skating blade, and the third time, well... my knees are still sore. I honestly don't know how my hand ended up by my foot, let alone how I managed to actually cut myself, but I'm just clumsy like that...

I've just come back from helping at my school's Open Evening; three hours straight of making paprer fish for ten year olds, punctuated only by the occasional whoops of my hyperactive friend running past with balloons from the French Department and chucking me Pains au Chocolats... I have no idea how you are meant to spell that, but it looks about right! I do German, not French... I was helping out the Maths Department, making origami octagons to demonstrate rotational symmetry to the year sixes from Primary School. To do this, I have to make paper 'fishes' with 'their guts hanging out' to make the finished thing. Yippee. My back hurts - they're all considerably shorter than me and I have to get down to their level to demonstrate the fishies -, my head hurts - you try sitting in an overlit Maths classroom from 6pm til 9pm, thinking wistfully of your best friend who is down in the German Department surrounded by food, and then you tell me how you feel! - and my wrists hurt; I have just folded approximately 300 paper squares along eight lines of symmetry, then formed them into fishies and locked them together using fiddly paper flaps which break as soon as you look at them, but need fixing because the year sixes want to take them home. Top set maths has it's downsides... I am frazzled. Very. Any annoyed, because my dog is currently sat beside my desk chair grumbling at me for no apparent reason. And now she licking her bum. Delightful. Well, I'll go moan elsewhere. Bye.

My Idiots of Friends...

Hi again! My best friend was reading my old blog and was getting annoyed that I just referred to her as 'friend', so, from here onwards, she is to be called 'X'. My other friend shall be called 'Y', another shall be called 'Z'. Another, a boy this time, shall be called 'S', to match his real name. Another boy shall be 'T', again to match his name. Right, I'll fill you in on the alphabet! X, Y, Z and S are all blonde and fairly tall, apart from X who is absolutely tiny at a measly 4'10"! Z is extremely sporty and of average height, about an inch shorter than me. T has light brown hair and is my height - 5'4", 5'5" - , just about. S is just freakishly tall and towers over me at about the same height as my mum... which isn't really that tall, but, you know... They all have blue eyes, except for T, I think, who has brown eyes like me. Anywaaaaay, I'll stop boring you with details of my friend's appearances. I'll bore you with their stupid antics instead!

S fell out of an upstairs window today; he smashed backwards through the glass and is extremely lucky to be alive. He escaped with just a badly cut hand, thanks to Z, who grabbed him round the neck and hauled him back in while out art teacher had a panic attack! All I heard was the shattering of glass, then I turned around to see my friends dangling out of a first floor window in the art corridor.. Kinda freaks you out! Then, of course, I was the one that had to sprint to lower school reception and back, all the way from upper, I might add, with shoes that fall off when I run. I got some funny looks, legging it through the basketball courts, holding my shoes, while my skirt blew up around my stomach...

We've now decided that me and Y need to do something ridiculously dramatic to match up, as X has already had her ridiculously dramatic situation; last year, some idiot-who-I-will-not-name chucked at huge lump of concrete at her head. Actually, he appealed to the teachers, he wasn't aiming for her, he was aiming for the boy sat behind her! Because that makes it so much better... Anyway, here she was, blood pumping out of her head and all she could say was, "Did somebody hit me with a lunchbox?" Then she noticed all the blood and practically passed out into Y's arms. So I ran around the corner to reception and bumped in Z and I was like, "X! X! X!" She thought X was chasing me, so she yelled around the wall for her to leave me alone. Then X appeared around the corner and Z was like, "Holy s**t!" It turned out the that the cut was barely half a centimetre long. But the amount of blood was phenomenal... I went to see her in reception and comforted her by reminding her that she's always wanted red hair.

So, I'm currently eating yesterday's left over roast dinner, writing on my blog and planning out one of my upcoming songfics, In Her Own Way. There's two on the way actually, I just haven't decided on a name for the other one yet. I'm thinking about two more oneshots, one with Remus and Tonks, another with Remus and Harry. Well, I'd best go write them down. Byeeeeee................

Bored...

I've written some more fanfiction lately. Still got some floating around my head, so I'll have to get that down soon, or it'll just disappear and I'll never be able to remember it again! It's really annoying, because I'm trying to carry on with Torn, my only Harry Potter multichapter, - so far - but all I can think about is what's going to happen in the story at Christmas; that's all planned but, but I can't concentrate on now! I mean, how exactly do you write the aftermath of a werewolf attack anyway?! Oh well, at least I didn't kill her... My reviewers knew I wouldn't, anyway! So far, I have four planned; one with Draco & Bella, another with Narcissa & Bella, another with Rodulphus & Bella and, finally, another with Narcissa & Draco. I still need titles though. Two of them are songfics, which makes the whole writing process even more difficult... I've got some really cool plans for Torn; it's now definitely going to be Bella/Snape, so if you like that pairing, get reading... It's my longest fic, ever, with 16,310 words and 8 chapters, so I'm getting really excited at the prospect of the plot actually going somewhere! :)

OK, who reads Harry Potter!? Or, to be precise, who has read Deathly Hallows?! That was an amazing book! I think my favourite was the fifth though, seeing as JKR kills off all my favourite characters in the seventh! HP SPOILERS! HIGLIGHT TO READ:
I cannot believe she killed Bellatrix (Lestrange, nee Black) like that! I wrote my own version of her death, over at FanFiction.Net, so pleeeeease check it out: She'll Never Love Again. One of my personal favourites, out of my eleven stories. If you're interested in reading them, check out my Profile Page at BonnieDog. I think Luna was my second favourite character, although, she didn't die! Tonks came in at an extremely close third, I think, but she did die! I thought that was sooo sad, the way little Teddy. L was just a few months old, then JKR killed off both of his parents! One of my rather dim-witted friends thought they were just sleeping when she read the part about them holding hands, DEAD, on the table... I wish I was that woefully ignorant. Some of my friends are equally obsessed with Bella, but a few just can't understand what we see in her. Mostly the Sirius and/or Tonks fangirls/boys! It was actually Bella that killed Tonks. And Dolohov killed Lupin. For a children's book, I think JKR did a great job of doing such sad, emotional scenes; I mean, I actually cried during Dobby's funeral! I have never cried reading a book before, so that is quite an achievement... I just think there was so much more that JKR could have done with these fantastic characters that she spent years building up, but, no, she simply killed them, or killed their families, or had them being totally happy, nineteen years later! I think that might be why I like writing fanfiction so much! For any Tonks fangirls, or Bella fangirls, - like meeeeeeeeee! - I've also written a death scene for Tonks, just how I would imagine it. It's rated Teen for extremely slight language, and, of course, the general depressingness of the whole death thing...

END OF SPOILERS!

I loved the Ootp - Order of the Phoenix - movie! It wasn't a patch on the book, but still... they never are. They miss so much out of the films, and it's stuff that's gonna be important later on! Like they missed out the cleaning scene at Grimmauld Place in OotP, and that becomes SUPER important in Deathly Hallows! I enjoyed the fight scene at the end of the latest movie - mainly because it was our first glimpse of Bellatrix, played wonderfully by Helena Bonham Carter - but what happened to the flying brains, half-dead Hermione, crazy Ron and all the other people that were meant be unconsious? Apparently, the makers of OotP had a whole duelling scene between Bella and Sirius, but then they SCRAPPED it! I will kill them if they miss any good bits out of HBP, like the scene with Bellatrix, Narcissa and Snape at the beginning, or Harry's encounter with Snape at the end. Or that cool part near the start, with the glasses of mead whacking the Dursleys round the head... ^_^ Also, what was with that whole 'mist apparition' thing in the ending fight scene of OotP? It was way cool, but what the hell was it?! Anywaaaaaay, I think I'm beginning to develope an unhealthy obsession with the Black Sisters in general; my favourite of the three is Bella, by far, followed by Andromeda, then Narcissa comes in last, even if she is the saviour of the wizarding world... if that last statement sounds weird to you, it will if you haven't read DH! Blimey, they're in age order! Bella is the eldest, and Cissy the youngest. Weird...

I only went back to school last week, and already I'm overloaded with homework; German, Maths, D&T (Design and Technology), History, Geography, Citizienship, more Deutsch - you name it! :( Not a happy bunny... Why is it that most schools teach Spanish and French, but we do German and French? German is just as useful, in my opinion. We have slightly more choice when we get to Options, I think, and we can also do Mandarin Chinese and Spanish after school, as extra-curricular activities... For the last two years I've been doing after-school dance clubs, for the annual show, but I can't be bothered this year, as the buzz you get at the show doesn't measure up to all the hard work required. I'm really not cut out for dance, and I'm not that good anyway! And I was always sooooo tired on Mondays nights when I got home from two hours straight of non-stop dancing... Anyway, byeeeeee!
